Is anything more seductive than Gisele Bündchen and splash of Chanel No. 5? We think not.
Chanel's new short film starring the supermodel, out today, is just what you'd expect: a beautiful and brief peek into the life of a classic Chanel gal.
Set to the sensual tune of Lo-Fang's rendition of "You're the One That I Want" (yep, the Grease song), The One That I Want begins with a sultry morning surf for the supermodel, Chanel surfboard in tow. The dizzyingly romantic film follows the 34-year-old throughout her whirlwind day, from spending time with her child to jetting off to a luxe photo shoot. Oh, and passionately falling in love whilst dripping in blinding No. 5 diamonds.
Le sigh, we have got to get some of that perfume!
The fragrance flick is a truly star-studded production, with all the Hollywood charm that accompanies a Baz Luhrmann-directed piece. New York City skylines, the Hamptons, glitzy parties and sparkling Chanel logos comprise the backdrops for this stunning short. And as for Gisele's on-screen love interest? That's Game of Thrones heartthrob Michiel Huisman.
"It's amazing how she can use her body and convey sensuality or strength," Luhrmann said of working with Gisele in a behind-the-scenes clip. "[Gisele's] an aspirational image of a woman who's perhaps almost impossible to be. You aspire to her, that's the idea. Gisele herself from my experience is extremely down to earth, very funny, very forthright, very intelligent and a very forward moving, powerful woman."
Gisele isn't the first A-lister to star in a Chanel No. 5 short film, following in the footsteps of Brad Pitt and Nicole Kidman, who starred in her own Luhrmann-directed Chanel No. 5 short back in 2004.
