When one thinks of Lorde, the term "funny" isn't necessarily the first term to come to mind.

But to our great surprise, the brooding singer does have a comedic side to her, which she showed off during an interview with New Zealand's TV3 recently. While discussing her various accomplishments, the 17-year-old spoke about being parodied on South Park just last week.

During the episode, Lorde goes missing and leaves fans wondering what happened to her, after a reporter for E! News (LOL) says, "The singer went dark on Twitter after claiming severe depression and stating, 'I realize now that I make people uncomfortable. I need to give this up and go back to just being the old me.'"

That's when we find out that "the old me" is actually—wait for it—a guy named Randy Marsh!

"That was really funny! I got off really easy," Lorde said of the South Park episode.

"I was thinking, 'Yeah he has a moustache... I mean I have a moustache, but is it that prominent?' But it was someone's dad pretending to be me. We actually, in my hotel room, went 'Ya ya ya ya ya I'm Lorde! Ya ya ya!' for like an hour, because that's why they do on the episode, so..."

Soooo, it's only fair that Lorde sings the "Ya Ya Ya" song, right?! Right!

And that's exactly what she did during the interview, and it was perfect. See for yourself below!
