When it comes to starting a family, is the timing ever right?
Zoe Saldana has been pondering that very question as she awaits the arrival of her twin babies. While promoting The Book of Life (in theaters Oct. 17), the actress, 36, explained why she's not worried about whether she's "ready" to become a mother. "It's almost like a redundant question, because whether I'm ready for it or not, it's inevitable," she told E! News. "I'm there. I'm in it. So, I'm gonna have to be ready."
The first-time mother-to-be didn't reveal her due date, but she did share how she's psyching herself up for kids. "The one thing I keep telling myself is I don't ever want to overflow my cup of patience. Trying to become an adult before I become a mother is very important for me, because I don't want my bad day...to be my children's price to pay," Marco Perego's wife said. "I definitely don't want to do that."

E! News exclusively reported in July that Saldana is eating for three. The actress confirmed the happy news on Oct. 1 when asked if she plans to dress up for Halloween this year. "I might," she told Marc Malkin. "I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice."
