Gone Girl earned $26.8 million in its second weekend, bringing its domestic total to $78.3 million. The thrilling drama staved off new contenders including Dracula Untold (No. 2, $23.5 million), Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day (No. 3, $19.1 million) and The Judge (No. 5, $13.3 million.) 20th Century Fox and New Regency's Gone Girl also continued to prosper overseas, earning $27 million from 52 markets for a foreign total of $63.3 million. In total, the film's earned $141.6 million worldwide.
Lopez supported her ex-fiancé Saturday. "Feet up...movie night!!! #GoneGirl," she tweeted.
The "Booty" singer, 45, seems to have a soft spot for her exes. On Thursday, she left L.A.'s Mr. Chow within minutes of Sean "Diddy" Combs. They headed to Hooray Henry's to celebrate a friend's birthday.
"They both locked eyes and smiled at one another, and they both got up from where they were and walked over to the DJ booth where they shared a long embrace," a source told E! News of the ex-couple. "They spoke for about 10 minutes. They went back to their tables and didn't speak the rest of the night."
And, as Lopez recently told E! News, Puff is still her pal. "We always root for each other," she said. "We always support each other. It's great after all these years to know and watch him do all that he's done."
Just as she's done with rapper-producer Combs, Lopez has remained amicable with her actor ex, too. When Affleck won a Golden Globe for directing Argo in 2013, for example, Lopez gave him major props. "It was a nice to see him have that moment," she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I was really happy for him."
