Here it is, ladies and gentlemen: Photographic evidence that Joe Biden is a baller.

The 71-year-old Vice President of the United States of America stopped in Portland's Salt & Straw Wednesday afternoon for some ice cream. As he was paying for his dessert, a perfect meme-worthy picture was snapped of the sunglass-wearing V.P, cash in hand, licking his waffle cone!

The snap, which quickly went viral, shows Biden looking about as all-American as they come. He's effortlessly cool in his signature Ray-Ban aviators, with an ice cream cone in one hand and two ten-dollar bills in the other.

Per the Washington Post, Biden indulged in one scoop of "Chocolate Woodblock" and another of "Double-Fold Vanilla." He gave a $12 tip on his $8 tab, telling the server he was "the last of the big spenders."

Salt & Straw owner Kim Malek was in disbelief when she was informed that the V.P., who was in the area at a re-election campaign rally for Senator Jeff Merkley, was heading to her store.

"Our store manager at Alberta, Kelly [Mitchum], said a woman appeared and said, 'Can I talk to you in private? The Vice President is going to be here in about a half hour,'" Kim told Oregon Live, "and Kelly said, 'the Vice President of Salt & Straw?'"

But to the store manager and owner's disbelief, it was the vice president of this country that would be paying them a visit! The owner wasn't in her store when she got the call, and by the time she made it there, the road had been blocked off for Biden's impending arrival.

"As I arrived, the Secret Service said, 'You can't go in,'" the owner told Oregon Live. "And I said, 'No, I own this place. And people in the street started yelling, 'It really is her place!' I know the Secret Service have gotten a lot of heat lately, so I wondered if they were going to let me in."

Fortunately, they did! Salt & Straw posted a handful of pictures with the V.P. on their Facebook page after the fact, calling his visit "an incredible honor."
