Kate Middleton's baby bump is about to make its debut!

Middleton has not been seen in public since the Sept. 8 announcement of her second pregnancy. The Duchess of Cambridge is suffering from severe pregnancy sickness, known as hyperemesis gravidarum. Kensington Palace confirmed Friday that Middleton and Prince William are scheduled to welcome the President of Singapore, Tony Tam, on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II at the Royal Garden Hotel on Oct. 21.

The royal couple will then travel to the Horse Guards Parade to attend Tan's ceremonial welcome.

The parents-to-be visited Singapore during HRH's Diamond Jubilee tour in 2012.

While under the care of doctors at Kensington Palace, Middleton, 32, has been forced to cancel multiple engagements, including her first solo tour to Malta and Prince Harry's Invictus Games kickoff event. Additionally, she had to pull out of the Oct. 1 launch of The Art Room's ninth center opening in the U.K.

In a public apology letter, the pregnant duchess wrote, "I am truly sorry that I cannot be with you all today as you celebrate this milestone. As patron of The Art Room, I feel great pride to see the work that the charity is doing. Vulnerable children flourish in the safe havens that The Art Room provides; this highlights just how important it is to support children at a time when they most need help and support."

Middleton recently canceled event in Portsmouth, England, scheduled for Oct. 13.

In the meantime, the Cambridges are doing their best to stay positive. "They are so excited that [Prince George] will be getting a younger brother or sister next April and Kate's just bravely fighting through this unwell stage under the guidance of palace doctors," a source recently told E! News.

Plus, Middleton knew that she might feel ill again, given that she was hospitalized for the same condition when she was pregnant with her 14-month-old son. As such, the source explained, "Kate's very practical and takes everything in her stride. [She] decided that she'd manage to cope and just get on with it if it happened again."
