Stephen Collins is currently under investigation for child molestation, but flashback to 14 years ago, and he was the one pointing fingers.

In 2000, a 17-year-old Jessica Biel posed naked for Gear magazine. Collins, who played Biel's father on 7th Heaven, slammed his co-star's controversial photo spread as "child pornography" in an interview with the Daily News.

"The press has gotten Jessica Biel's age wrong in their recent stories about her," he said. "She's not 18, as has been widely reported. She's 17, a minor...And as such, Jessica's photo spread was child pornography. I don't want my kid to get the message that that's okay."

(Biel regretted the spread, telling Entertainment Weekly in 2001, "That photo shoot was just a really bad decision on my part and I got myself involved with people who weren't thinking about me and were instead thinking about what kind of a story they could get out of it.")

Collins, whose daughter with estranged wife Faye Grant was 10 at the time, told the Daily News, "As a parent of a young daughter, this [Biel's Gear spread] is very disturbing to me."

And while Biel has yet to publicly comment on the allegations Collins is facing, some of his other 7th Heaven costars have expressed their disbelief. Catherine Hicks, for example, was asked by TMZ if anyone on set had "any kind of suspicion" about Collins. Her response was a resounding, "No, gosh, no! Not to my knowledge!"

"Stephen's a good guy in my opinion," added Hicks.

Kyle Searles, who had a recurring role on 7th Heaven from 2004 to 2007, was "shocked" to hear the allegations about Collins, telling TMZ, "I never once had any type of encounter where he was maybe a little inappropriate, nobody in the cast had ever come to me, nor was it ever an issue.."

Since the tape of Collins' allegedly admitting to molesting and exposing himself to to three girls under the age of 14 was releaesd to the public Tuesday, the actor has resigned from his position on the National Board of the Screen Actors Guild. His role in the upcoming comedy Ted 2 has also been cut, a source confirmed to E! News.
