Sarah Jessica Parker Brings the Carrie Shoe to Her Sex and the City Character's Doorstep—See the Pics!

SJP takes walk down memory lane, right back to her former Sex and the City character's NYC apartment!

Well, they're not Manolo Blahniks…but we don't think Carrie Bradshaw would disapprove!

Amidst rumors that she may reprise her Sex and the City role for a third film, Sarah Jessica Parker made a quick trip to her character's NYC digs to show off the latest installment in her shoe collection. SJP even brought her good friend Carrie along—red T-strap heels named for the iconic SATC leading lady!

Perched on the steps of the Carrie's Upper East Side townhouse (actually filmed in the West Village, standing in for the UES), the actress-turned-shoe-designer showed off several heels from her glossy SJP by Sarah Jessica Parker collection on Instagram, captioning the candid: "It was take your @sjpcollection shoes to work day. #longdayforCarrie #whewwwwthosesteps #runninginheels #taxi!"

SJP shared a few more pics on the SJP Collection's Instagram, styling the drool-worthy heels on the famous Perry Street steps. A particularly punchy pic shows the shoe confections lined up next to a "Do not go on staircase" sign, captioned: "Oh no. Eek. Sorry. No. I was just talking about the shoes. Oh man. Geesh. Sorry. X Sj."

Well, if you're going to break the rules, it might as well be in the name of shoes!

The famous fashionista teamed up with Manolo Blahnik CEO George Malkemus III to launch her Nordstrom exclusive line back in February. Parker opened up about her sleek collaboration with the legendary shoe designer, saying her inspiration came from a desire to create a well-designed "simple shoe."

"There's decades and decades and decades of incredible imagery that you probably have in your head that's meaningful to you. It just so happens that George and I shared the same period of interest," she explained. "I wanted to go back in time to the simple shoe, which is really hard to do well. That was really our point of inspiration."

And let's not forget that on the heels of SJP's return to Carrie's apartment may be an actual return the SATC film franchise. Here's to hoping this walk down memory lane is just the first step for Carrie's return!
