Splash NewsAfter the recent—and very public—drama surrounding their marriage, Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett and Hank Baskett are trying out a fairly non-traditional form of counseling.
E! News has learned that the couple will star on the next season of Marriage Boot Camp and will be filming for the next two weeks.
Their latest efforts to make their relationship work come on the heels of the mother of two speaking to us about why she believes her husband "deserves sympathy."
"He was never a douchebag," she said, defending her partner of five years. "He's always been the most perfect man on Earth. Now he's Superman without the cape. He needs a lot of work, that's the issue."
She continued, "People looked at him like he was Superman and he probably made one little mistake and now the whole world sees this bad image and I hate that. It's so sad…He's not a bad guy. He's a very amazing person who was trapped in the very bad situation."
The former Playmate added that Hank is "in a lot of therapy" and that she believes "he's trying to find a way to tell me what really happened."
"What if there is more that comes out?" she asked during her chat with E! News.
"I can't sit here and say I'm going to stay with him and then tomorrow another story comes out. What if this is another Tiger Woods situation?"
While Kendra has been close to filing divorce, which she recently admitted to us during a sit-down interview, she admits that things aren't always so clear behind closed doors.
"I'm not the type of person to flip a switch and just shut my love for Hank off. I love him so much. That's why I'm in so much pain."
