Plaid can be acceptable in any situation! It can be worn as a "grunge" look, it can be mistaken as "farmer fashion." Or, when pulled off correctly, plaid has the possibility to look fabulously chic as seen on all three of these A-Listers!
When talking about Hollywood's hottest fashion trendsetters, it is hard to have a conversation without mentioning the always-gorgeous Emma Watson. Here she pairs a fit and flare plaid Alexander McQueen dress with a dual zipper leather jacket at the GQ Awards in Los Angeles.
Jessica Simpson hits the street looking like she is stepping out on a runway in this plaid ensemble! We love how she took a risk here by mix and matching two different plaid patterns. Let's be honest, when you have those legs, it's really hard to find something that doesn't look amazing? She breaks up the dress with a black leather belt, tying in to her stiletto and bag accessories.
Last, but certainly not least, we have the Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, stepping out in Pairs during Fashion Week in a red plaid skit. While typically we would automatically associate the skit with a school uniform, Kris styles this look to perfection with black stockings, rider boots and a Chanel purse. We aren't sure if she is stealing style pointers from supermodel Kendall, but the look is working for you Kris!
