Apparently, the songstress was supposed to be by Cody Lanphere's side after he got out of oral surgery, but she was nowhere to be found, and that didn't sit well with the 17-year-old. OK, we all know Queen B was not supposed to be anywhere, but because of his loopy state, Cody swore that Bey "lied to me!"
The woman behind the camera, who was identified as his mother, posted a hilarious video of her son reacting to the meds given to him at the dentist after getting his wisdom teeth pulled, and while reassuring Cody, who has tissue in his mouth for the bleeding, that "everything is going to be fine," Lanphere cries out, "Where's Beyoncé?!"
Trying to hold back her laughter, his mom responds, "She couldn't make it."
She couldn't make it?! What else does Bey have going on that she couldn't comfort Cody after getting his wisdom teeth pulled out?! "She told me she'd be here," he muffles out before crying out, "She lied to me!"
No worries, mom let him know that it's all good, and said they can call her when they get home. That seemed to calm Lanphere down—until he burped and scared the you-know-what out of him and said, "What was that?! Did you hear that?!"
This goes on for nearly 12 minutes, and there's no telling if the video is authentic or fake, but we're entertained regardless. Plus, who wouldn't call out to Beyoncé in a time of need?
However, to answer Cody's question, it looks like Bey was busy traveling the world, appreciating some art, spending quality time with her beau Jay Z and looking #flawless.
