Kate Upton was rooting for boyfriend Justin Verlander and his Detroit Tigers teammates, but it wasn't enough for the boys to pull a victory over those Baltimore Orioles!
Despite the supermodel's best cheerleading efforts (she even wore a Tigers T-shirt!), the Orioles came out ahead with a score of 7-6.
And even though Justin, 31, didn't win this game, he surely appreciated Kate, 22, coming out to show her support. In a previous game, the pitcher even took a mid-game break to toss the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model a ball. She caught it, adorably blushing and grinning at the sweet gesture.
One sportscaster who saw the whole thing couldn't help but gush, "It must be love!"
Kate hasn't always been a Tigers fan, though! Last month on Live! With Kelly and Michael, the Other Woman star said she "used to be a really big Yankees fan," but now? "I'm sleeping with the enemy!"
"My boyfriend plays for the Tigers," she said. "I had to pick a side!"
And love conquers all—even in baseball! When Kate went to a Yankees-Tigers game in Yankee Stadium, things were not the same as they used to be! "I felt it, too, when I walked in," she said. "They specifically told me—the Yankees told me — 'You're not allowed to wear a Tigers hat! You're not allowed to wear any Tigers gear.'"
The blond beauty joked of her dropped allegiance to the Yankees, "It's like a bad breakup!"
