JWoww Channels Skrillex, Shaves the Side of Her Head and Dyes Her Hair Black—but Claims She ''Pulled a Britney''

"I didn't feel right as a blonde," the reality star wrote on her blog

JWoww has officially gone back to the dark side. 

Less than two months after the 28-year-old reality star dyed her hair a beautiful honey shade of blonde, Jenni "JWoww" Farley has returned to her darker roots and switched up her 'do once again. 

The former Jersey Shore star, who welcomed her first child with fiancé Roger Mathews on July 13, took to her blog to reveal her latest tress transformation, which required not just one, but two crucial steps in order to complete her makeover. 

"I didn't feel right as a blonde, so I pulled a Britney and shaved part of my head!" JWoww wrote, poking fun at Britney Spears' infamous 2007 meltdown (while we imagine she meant no harm, her comments will likely receive some backlash). She added that she's all about "trying something new" and was able to come up with a style that fits her personality. 

"So for part two of my new hair transformation, I decided to go back to black!" she wrote. "We went DARK DARK DARK! It's fall now and blonde just doesn't cut it. I was done with the basic look, and wanted something more badass!" 

Badass, indeed (despite the fact that her 'do looks a bit like a mix between Avril Lavigne and EDM DJ Skrillex's hairstyles). 

Meanwhile, JWoww has been looking better than ever since giving birth to her baby girl Meilani, and she recently revealed to E! news that it only took her two-and-a-half weeks (!) to get back to her pre-pregnancy weight. 

Her 2-month-old daughter also enjoyed her first play date last month with Snooki's son Lorenzo, just shortly before the pint-size reality star gave birth to her second child.
