Newlywed Ashley Tisdale Dyes Her Hair Lavender—Take a Look!

Actress' hair colorist explains the color change

Ashley Tisdale's has been going through some change recently. Some big—like, say, getting married a few weeks ago—and some small, as in a new hair color.

Yes, the newlywed debuted lavender ends on Instagram on Monday. She captioned her bedridden shots: "I may have a cold but I got lavender in my bun :)"

The cheerful pop of purple was actually done four days earlier by Nine Zero One hair colorist Amber Maynard, who according to the salon's co-owner Nikki Lee "specializes in doing fun colors!"

So why the sudden switch? "This change was just for fun before she starts filming [TV series] Buzzy's," Lee explains. "It will wash out in about six shampoos. It's on the hair extensions we put in for her wedding. We think it's a great way to switch up your hair without having to commit for a long time and without having to damage it."

Lee and fellow Nine Zero One hairstylist Morgan Parks was the masterminds behind Ashley's loose and wavy wedding hair. They also created romantic milkmaid braids for Vanessa Hudgens and the rest of the bridesmaids.
