Fellow George Clooney lovers, take note: Giuliana Rancic has given Amal Alamuddin her stamp of approval.

While the E! News host, along with countless women around the world, were a wee bit upset to learn that the Oscar-winning heartthrob is now officially off the market after tying the knot with the beautiful London-based lawyer over the weekend in a stunning Italy ceremony, the 40-year-old beauty has nothing but praise for the pair (despite her tinge of jealousy!) and truly believes that Amal and George were meant to be.

"Amal I think is a great fit," Giuliana dished to E! News while promoting the new product Nescafé with Coffee-Mate on National Coffee Day. "I think that's the other thing too—had it been someone who wasn't a good match for George Clooney, I think I would have been a little disappointed. But the fact that she seems like an incredible woman—she's highly-educated, she's worldly, she's sophisticated—I think he's met his match."

"I love the fact that he's married a woman who is incredibly smart and on his level when it comes to brains and just about everything," the blond beauty continued. "That's really nice to see. So I actually think they make an incredible couple and I'm happy for the both of them."

The famous Hollywood hunk officially bid farewell to his bachelor days when he said "I do" to Alamuddin on Saturday in an intimate ceremony in Venice. The couple was surrounded by more than 100 of their nearest and dearest, including famous faces such as more Cindy Crawford and husband Rande Gerber, Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso, John Krasinski and Emily BluntEllen Barkin, Anna Wintour, U2 frontman Bono, as well as Bill Murray

Since the ceremony, as well as the days leading up to the nuptials, the beautiful bride has been seen sporting a number of high-end fashions, including a striped Dolce & Gabbana dress, a red Alexander McQueen number and a lace Giambattista Valli Couture frock, which she rocked for her first official appearance as Mrs. George Clooney.

And turns out, Alamuddin has earned Rancic's stamp of approval in that department, too.

"I love her fashion, she's been wearing gorgeous dresses—the Giambattista Valli, the Dolce, I love her dresses, she's been picking some really great dresses," the E! star said of the stunning brunette. "I love that she's having fun with fashion, he's looking great. I love that they're sharing it with the world—they're not hiding, they're not running from the cameras, they're waving at the fans, handing out Casamigos tequila…I like that they are embracing the media and the fans during this time and realize that there's a natural curiosity among the world to see them on their wedding day and I like that they shared that with the world."

So do we!
