Wanna build a snowman? Apparently, some new Once Upon a Time viewers do!

The ratings are in for Once's much talked about, fourth season premiere, which introduced Frozen characters, and it appears that some new viewers who hadn't been watching the ABC series checked it out for the Anna and Elsaness of it all.

Once scored 9.4 million total viewers, which marks the show's best numbers in nearly two years—since Nov. 4, 2012.  The premiere was up 30 percent from last year, and scored the show's largest audience ever for viewers under age 18 (1.6 million), so clearly the Frozen addition clearly fostered a lot of family co-viewing for the first time. (Including my house!)

By the way, if you missed our tiny TV critics (my 3- and 5-year-old sons) giving their take on the episode, and Anna and Elsa's "Crazy faces!",  you can see that right here...

But the even bigger winner on Sunday night? Fox, for its Simpsons premiere, and Simpsons/Family Guy crossover event. The Simpsons was up 34 percent from its premiere last season, and Family Guy was up a whopping 61 percent.

Who didn't win? Simpsons fans, who had to be disappointed that the overly hyped death turned out to be...Krusty..'s father. So very overwhelming!

The Simpsons pulled in 8.5 million viewers. The Simsons/Family crossover pulled in 8.4 million.

In less optomistic news, CBS' Madam Secretary starring Tea Leoni dropped 30 percent in week two.

Revenge was also down a full rating point from last season's premiere, bringing in 5.3  million viewers overall.

What did you think of last night's big premieres?
