Avril Lavigne was missing a very special someone on her birthday weekend.

As the "Complicated" singer turned 30 in Las Vegas, husband Chad Kroeger was nowhere to be found for the festivities.

Instead, the birthday girl boarded a private jet and kicked off her weekend with close friends by her side.

After enjoying an intimate dinner at Akira Back's Yellowtail Restaurant, the singer headed to The Bank Nightclub inside the Bellagio Resort & Casino for a night of partying.

Wearing a hot pink strapless dress with nude heels, Lavigne was all smiles as she posed for photos, enjoyed a giant birthday cake and danced with gal pals. According to a source, Lavigne and her friends didn't leave the nightclub until 2:45 a.m.

Lavigne's birthday without her husband comes at a time when the couple faces reports of marital struggles.

E! News has learned that the musicians have been "fighting a lot" and that "they're having a lot of issues."

A source close to the couple told E! News that, "there's jealousy on both sides. She flirts, he flirts. She's very insecure to begin with."

It also didn't help that their recent collaboration produced an album with less than stellar sales.

"[Now that] the album didn't do as well as they had hoped…they're finding that they're not seeing eye to eye on a lot of things," the insider added.

Last month, Lavigne was even spotted partying with pals without the massive diamond ring her husband gifted her on their first wedding anniversary.

Despite signs of a possible rift, Lavigne put on a brave face for fans all weekend long.

"Thank you to my fans, family and friends for the birthday love," she tweeted Saturday afternoon before her night out. "Please check out what we r doing at @AvrilFoundation for @SpecialOlympics."
