Big Sean Says Ariana Grande Is ''Very Special,'' Admits He's Dissing Naya Rivera on Break Up Song (Well, Sort of)

''Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me," the rapper said of the ''Problem" singer

Big Sean is finally opening up about his romance with Ariana Grande. Well, sort of. 

The 26-year-old hip hop star stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, where he dished on his relationship with the 21-year-old "Problem" crooner, with whom he was first romantically linked just over one month ago. They have since released a single together and were even spotted holding hands backstage at the MTV Video Music Awards while continuing to tease fans with telling Instagram shots. 

So of course, Seacrest pressed the "My Last" rapper on his relationship status, and while he was initially hesitant to answer the question, he ultimately decided to share his admiration for the chart-topping songstress. 

"I'm like a big fan, I know where I'm at. I'm at On Air with Ryan Seacrest. [But] I like to keep my personal life personal. You know what I'm saying?" Sean said, playing coy before singing the pop star's praises. "But I am going to tell you this: That Ariana is very, very special. She's very special to me. Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I'm just going to leave it at that." 

In addition to "Big Mistake," the two also collaborated on the track "Right There," and according to Sean, magic happens when these two make music together. 

"I was the first rapper to perform at the White House. I performed there with Ariana, so that was an honor," the rapper dished last week to MTV News. "[We] make a lot of music together and the chemistry between me and her when we work is great."

Hmm...sure sounds like these two are going strong, which would also explain why Ariana played so coy when she appeared on Seacrest last month and was asked about her beau. 

"I mean, I guess, curiosity man, it'll kill you," Grande said. "I don't know what to say, Ryan. Why are you doing this me?"

She added, "I'll tell you when we're not on the air. I trust you. I've known you a long time. I don't know about these millions of people listening in right now."

During Sean's interview, Seacrest also asked the recording artist if his new song "I Don't F--k With You" is about Naya Rivera, the rapper's former fianceé who tied the knot with actor Ryan Dorsey in a surprise wedding ceremony just three months after Sean called off their engagement. 

Speculation ran rampant that the song was written for the Glee star after the tune hit airwaves two weeks ago, as the single features lyrics such as "I don't give a f--k about you or anything that you do / I saw you got a new man I see you taking the pic / I see you post it up thinking that it's making me sick / I see you calling up Imma answer that s--t like 'I don't f--k with you'"

Still, as Seacrest pointed out, Sean wrote the song when he was with Naya—the musician acknowledges that this is true—although he admitted he didn't expect the tune to become a part of his own reality. 

"I was just honestly putting myself in a perspective, man," he revealed. "As an artist, you just have to do that sometimes. It's funny how records, sometimes they relate to you more later on, sometimes they don't. Obviously it kind of fits my situation."
