Outlander, Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe

Starz/Sony Pictures Television

Calling all Outlander fans (Which should be everyone, because—hello!—have you seen Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe? They. Are. Perfect. Human. Beings.)! When the midseason finale airs this Saturday, you better savor every sexy, shocking, intense and amazing minute of it because it's going to be a while until we get any more new episodes.

Starz just announced the return date for its hit Scottish series, and we're crying all of the tears because it's way too far away!

So when does Outlander return to our TVs?

Mark your calendars now, because E! News has confirmed that the remaining eight episodes of season one will premiere on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 9 p.m.

Spring of next year?! Yeah, we know, that's a long time to be separated from newlyweds Jamie and Claire Fraser, especially after we just witnessed their extremely hot and romantic wedding night, which earned the show a series high of 1.23 million viewers. It's going to be a long winter.

At least we already know that Outlander has been renewed for season two!

Outlander, based on the internationally best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon and executive produced by Battlestar Galactica's Ronald D. Moore, is about an English combat nurse from 1945 who finds herself mysteriously thrown back in time to 18th Century Scotland. Though she left a kind and romantic husband, Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies), in the present, she was forced to marry Jamie in last week's episode for protection from the sadistic British soldier Black Jack Randall (also Menzies), an ancestor of her husband's. In the past, Claire will be forced to come to terms with knowing she now has two husbands in the midseason finale, "Both Sides Now," while Frank will desperately search for Claire in the present.

The Outlander midseason finale airs Saturday, September 27 at 9 p.m. on Starz.
