Talk about the power of music!

As Miranda Lambert continues her 2014 Platinum tour across the states, the country darling shared a very special moment with one fan Saturday night.

While performing her smash hit single "Over You," Mrs. Blake Shelton noticed a sweet young girl in the crowd named Brooke Hester.

Wearing a pink cowgirl hat and a mask to prevent germs from reaching her, the 7-year-old cancer patient grabbed the singer's hand for a tender, unannounced moment.

Turns out, the quick interaction deeply moved Lambert, who had to stop singing as tears began streaming down her face. Luckily, the crowd was able to sing loud and proud for the remainder of the song.

According to Facebook, Hester is currently battling stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer. She was diagnosed with the disease in 2010.

This isn't the first time Lambert has shed a few tears while performing live.

During a recent benefit concert called Healing in the Heartland, Lambert got chocked up while performing "The House That Built Me."

Miranda mouthed "sorry" to the crowd as she stopped singing for a few moments in hopes of regaining her composure.

After watching the clips, you will realize she has nothing to apologize for.
