Ariana Grande says she is "laughing out loud" at several recent rumors about herself, which have included reports of "diva"-like behavior and a recent, particularly shocking one that alleges she threw some major shade at fans.

On Tuesday, The New York Daily News quoted an "industry insider" as saying that during a visit to a Manhattan radio station this past summer, the 21-year-old "Problem" and "Break Free" singer "did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator" and that "as soon as the doors shut, she said, 'I hope they all f--king die.'"

Grande, who often communicates with her some 18.6 million followers on Twitter, tweeted the same day, "man some of these rumors that have been coming out about me lately actually have me laughing out loud ... really can't take em seriously." She has not commented about the report directly.

Grande also posted several tweets about love, even quoting lyrics from the 1996 Broadway show Rent's song "Seasons of Love." The Tony-winning musical, which helped launch the career of Idina Menzel, focuses on a group of New York bohemian artists who find comfort in each other's company amid struggles with poverty, relationships and illness and promotes love, hope and tolerance.

In September, Grande was accused of walking off the set of a photo shoot in Australia. She denied this, in a radio interview.

"No matter what you do, no matter what your profession is, no matter how old you are, everybody deals with haters," she said.
