Who says you can't go back in time?

Jimmy Fallon paid homage to his alma mater, Saugerties High School, in an unusual way Tuesday. The Tonight Show host asked The Good Wife's Julianna Margulies to join him for a silly musical skit in which they played the principal and vice principal of the New York-based school Fallon graduated from in 1992.

Together, 39-year-old Fallon and 48-year-old Margulies read sang the morning announcements. "Now, for any of you freshman out there, just an FYI: We've been voted the most entertaining...morning announcement duo in the tri-county area seven years running," the Emmy winner told her "students."

Riffing off Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off," they promoted Mr. Truman's home ec class bake sale. The skit was corny and cute. "Please call me the artist formerly known as Prince-ipal," Fallon said with a laugh.

Margulies warned against the dangers of sexting by reimagining MAGIC!'s "Rude," singing, "Why you gotta text those nudes? Don't you know you're students, too? Why you gotta text those nudes? We'll be expelling you anyway!" Other songs performed included Iggy Azalea's "Fancy," Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," Sam Smith's "Stay With Me," and DJ Snake and Lil Jon's "Turn Down for What."
