The new fad diet? Joining Dancing With the Stars!

Each and every season, many of the celebrity contestants credit the ABC reality hit for kickstarting their weight loss, and season 19 is no different!

While DWTS just premiered on Monday, two of its stars have already shed some serious pounds! Radio host Tavis Smiley has already lost 20 pounds, while The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's Alfonso Ribeiro, who received the highest score of the night from the judges (36 out of 40!), has also dropped some weight.

Backstage after the first performance show, Ribeiro revealed to E! News that he's lost 15 pounds, which has made all the intense rehearsals worth it.

"Well, it hurts all the time, but I've already lost 15 pounds," he told us. "So at the end of the day, it's working. We've got a long way to go."

As for 20 pounds-lighter Smiley, who celebrated his 50th birthday just two days before the premiere, he said his professional partner, Sharna Burgess, warned him that while he'll be looking good, he'd definitely be feeling worn out from all the hard work. "'You're going to look 25. You're going to feel like 75, but you're going to look like 25!'" he recalled.

To hear more from Ribeiro and Smiley, including whether or not the former has heard from his former costar Will Smith, watch our interviews with the DWTS-ers above!

DWTS' results show airs tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.
