When Amy Brenneman told us she'd like to have Jennifer Aniston play a Guilty Remnant on The Leftovers, we couldn't help but mock up a photo of Jen as a member of the creepy cult.

But it looks like the image above is the closest we'll get to see of Aniston appearing on the show, which stars her hubby-to-be Justin Theroux.

"That is so funny," Aniston said when I mentioned Brenneman's suggestion at the premiere of her new movie Life of Crime. "I don't know. I don't think so. They would never want me on that show."

Although she does like the idea of not having to memorize many lines because Guilty Remnants aren't allowed to talk. "That would be awesome," Aniston said.

In addition to remaining silent, members of the Guilty Remnant are also known for wearing all white and chain smoking.

"She'd be an awesome Guilty Remnant, wouldn't she?" Brenneman, who plays Theroux's wife and a Guilty Remnant on the HBO series, said of the former Friends star. "Just like have that cigarette and be bad ass."

Brenneman then gave a thumbs up and said, "Ratings!"
