Britney Spears is focusing on the positive.

Hours after the pop princess revealed she'd broken up with David Lucado amid allegations that he cheated on her with another woman, Spears, 32, shared a silly Instagram video with fans. "Okay, if you ever have a really, really s---ty day, find someone with shoes with hearts on them," she said, turning the camera away from herself and towards a friend wearing Comme des Garçons sneakers. "Made my day!"

Spears previously announced her single status in a tweet, writing, "Ahhhh the single life!"

While a source told E! News Thursday that Spears was "heartbroken," she will pull through. "She's a strong girl and he was never right for her," the source said of Lucado, whom she began dating in 2013.

Eight months ago, Spears revealed she was in "love" with the lawyer. "I think it was instant, yeah," she said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. "I just love that he's very passionate and he's funny and he's sexy."

Of course, the romance ended as quickly as it began.

Spears' broken engagement to Jason Trawick inspired many of the songs on Britney Jean, and it's likely her breakup with Lucado will do the same. In the meantime, the twice-wed "Radar" singer will continue to headline her concert series at Las Vegas' Planet Hollywood and will launch her lingerie line on Sept. 9.
