InstagramJeff Goldblum just got engaged and is set to marry for the third time...but is the actor planning on becoming a dad?
In an interview with GQ that was published in the magazine's September 2014 issue, the 61-year-old Jurassic Park and Independence Day actor was asked if he is thinking about having a child. He and new fiancée Emilie Livingston, 31, got engaged in July (see her ring!).
"No," the outlet quoted him as saying. "But, you know, they are cute, aren't they?"
The two are parents to another baby, however. Their dog, red-haired poodle Woody Allen.
Livington is an actress, gymnast and contortionist who recently performed with Nicki Minaj at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards. She shared several photos from the venue on her Instagram page.
Goldblum was previously married to Patricia Gaul, his co-star in the 1985 movie Silverado, and to Geena Davis, who appeared with him in the 1980s films Transylvania 6-5000, The Fly and Earth Girls Are Easy. He and the latter actress divorced in 1990.
In a 2003 interview with The New Zealand Herald, Goldblum was asked why he never had children.
"I don't know," he said. "I've never seriously tried or had that in mind. I think I got the idea that it was a very challenging thing to do that I wouldn't want to fall short of. You have to be in love with the idea to do it and I guess I never was."
