InstagramJessa Duggar and Ben Seewald didn't even hold hands until they got engaged, but they're living together before the wedding?!
Not to worry—nothing scandalous is happening here! 19 Kids and Counting patriarch Jim Bob Duggar is A-OK with this arrangement, because as he told People, his future son-in-law is living "in the guesthouse in front of our house, with a shower and everything, separate from the main house."
"He moved up here a few weeks ago," said Jim Bob. "It has been really good. He has been able to spend a lot more time with Jessa and our family."
Before moving to Tontitown, Ark., with the Duggar family, Ben "was living four hours away in Hot Springs with his parents," said Jim Bob. "After Michelle [Duggar] and I were talking about it, we have so many projects to do that we need help for–everything from construction projects to keeping the grass mowed to putting roof on a building, paperwork and things like that–and we asked him if he would be interested in moving up here so that Jessa and his relationship could be really accelerated. He was all for it and his parents were happy about it."
Ben's future wife is, not surprisingly, pretty excited about it, too! " In a preview clip from Tuesday's 19 Kids and Counting, airing at 9 p.m. on TLC, Jessa says it "will be awesome to get to spend more time with Ben and see him on a daily basis instead of once or twice a month."
Jessa and Ben, who got engaged earlier this month, will still have chaperones on their dates, though. Plus, Jim Bob told People the twosome have a curfew. "By midnight, every night, we need to make sure everybody is back in their place," he said.
That won't be a problem to keep, though, because, "Jessa and Ben have set up their own courtship standards," said Jim Bob. "Just like Jill [Duggar] and Derick [Dillard], they will be saving their first kiss for their wedding day."
Well, if Jessa and Ben are like Jill and Derick, they'll have no trouble making up for lost time! Less than two months after tying the knot (and kissing for the first time), Jill and Derick excitedly announced they were expecting their first child together.
