Couple secretly wed in April

Well, don't these two look great all glammed up?! 

Jodie Foster and new wife Alexandra Hedison attended the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards together on Monday held at the Nokia Theatre at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. 

The good-looking couple happily posed for pics as they sat side by side in the audience, coordinating their ensembles in similar all-black ball gowns. 

Foster, 51, stunned in a strapless Max Mara number and accessorized with a stunning Neil Lane diamond necklace, while her ladylove rocked a monochromatic dress which featured a criss-cross neckline.

The Oscar-winning actress was nominated for Outstanding Directing for her Comedy Series for her directorial efforts on Orange Is the New Black. The critically acclaimed thesp directed the first season's episode "Lesbian Request Denied," during which the backstory for Laverne Cox's character Sophia was explored. 

Although Foster lost the accolade to Modern Family's Gail Mancuso, the actress and her wife didn't let the loss take away from their fun-filled night. 

Following the show, the two hit HBO's official 2014 Emmy after-party at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, where the lovebirds looked gorgeous as they smiled for the cameras. 

E! News exclusively reported that Foster and Hedison secretly wed in April after nearly a year of dating. Prior to Foster, Hedison dated Ellen DeGeneres for about three years before things ended in 2004. 

Last year's Golden Globes marked a momentous occasion in the Silence of the Lambs star's career. Not only was she presented with the prestigious Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award, but she also publically addressed her sexuality, thanking her ex Cydney Bernard while declaring that she did her "coming out a thousand years ago, in the Stone Age."
