Smiling Paula Patton Resurfaces at Emmys After-Party for the First Time Since Robin Thicke's Paula Fiasco

Actress was all smiles as she chatted with fellow celebs at the star-studded event

Paula Patton has made her way back into the Hollywood spotlight.

After nearly six months of staying away from the public eye following her split from Robin Thicke and his public outpour for forgiveness, Patton resurfaced at the Emmys HBO party Monday night at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

The actress, who seemingly kept covered up in a dark ensemble, looked to be in good spirits, smiling and laughing as she chatted with fellow celebs and industry professionals at the star-studded event.

Patton's last public appearance was at the Vanity FairOscar party in early March of this year, where she was decked out in a Celia Kritharioti dove gray gown with a plunging neckline. The night before, Patton attended the Independent Spirit Awards, where she simply stunned in a yellow, floral and sheer Lorena Sarbu dress, which marked her first red carpet event since announcing her split from Thicke.

A few months later, Thicke announced his album Paula as a tribute to his estranged wife. It includes the single "Get Her Back," which he debuted at the Billboard Music Awards in May, where he told the audience, "All right, y'all, help me get her back."

The high school sweethearts separated in February after nine years of marriage. Thicke has publicly pleaded with the actress to take him back, frequently dedicating various love songs to her in concert.

Despite his public pleas, the duo remain separated.
