The 66th Annual Emmy Awards are typically all about television, but tonight's show highlighted this year's top series theme songs with a tribute by none other than Weird Al Yankovic.

The beloved parody singer gave quite a show for the packed audience at the Nokia Theatre, and made sure to honor not one, but five of the top series that are up for awards.

He began his performance with a hilarious nod to the Mad Men theme song, and joked about the show's hunky lead actor.

"Jon Hamm never won an Emmy, oh who cares, he's still John freaking Hamm," he said.

The camera immediately cut to the audience, which showed Hamm being an excellent sport about the whole thing and laughing at the jab.

Weird Al then danced to the famous track for Scandal and then described the past season of Homeland while prancing around in a tux to the instrumental track.

He finished up the number with a little Modern Family shout-out followed by a costume-filled Game of Thrones moment.

All in all, it was definitely a change of pace (and scenery) for the evening affair. What did you think about the mashup? Tell us below!
