When Casper Smart spoke to E! News at the MTV Video Music Awards, the choreographer said he's "still friends" with his ex-girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez. As the network's livestream showed, he was being honest!
Though the former flames were seated in different sections, Smart walked over to Lopez's area during a commercial break and offered her Skittles. The entire exchange was captured by the network's cameras.
A source later told us that the reunion continued at an afterparty at Greystone Manner in West Hollywood. The exes arrived together, J.Lo still in her glittering VMAs dress, and she was very friendly and appeared to be having a good time.
Smart served as the choreographer and creative director for Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" and "Bang Bang" opening medley. Lopez, meanwhile, introduced Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora's "Black Widow" performance. The "Booty" singer shimmered in a Charbel Zoe dress, Jimmy Choo heels and Norman Silverman jewels.
Lopez, 45, was also seen taking a drive with Smart, 27, last week, but a source told E! News of the amicable exes, "They are not back together."
When Lopez appeared on E!'s Chelsea Lately Thursday, she claimed to be "single"—even though she's been seen getting "affectionate" with former Dancing With the Stars pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, 34.
The "First Love" singer said she doesn't discriminate on the basis of age, provided there's an emotional connection. "I don't really plan things out. They just happen," she said. "Maybe I need to plan better!"
Would she ever consider taking another trip down the aisle?
"I would get married again. Why not? I like being in a relationship. I do," said the thrice-wed singer, actress and American Idol judge. "I'm not one to whore around and stuff like that. That's not my thing."
