What an unforgettable show!

The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards took place Sunday night at the Forum near Los Angeles where music dominated for two hours straight.

From rockin' performances to adorable dance moves, there were so many memorable moments at this year's event. Here are just a few highlights.

Queen Beyoncé: We're still trying to recover from the amazingness that was Beyoncé's performance. Before receiving the prestigious Video Vanguard Award, the "Drunk in Love" songstress sang a medley of songs from her latest album, Beyoncé, which dropped late last year. And we can't fail to mention the moment Blue Ivy danced in her seat to mama's epic songs. Now that's a VMA moment!

Wardrobe Problems: We understand Nicki Minaj's desire to go big at Sunday's show. Her decision to have a costume change in the middle of a performance, however, proved to be a bit too much as the "Bang Bang" singer struggled to keep her dress on. We're not calling it a total wardrobe malfunction, but it's pretty darn close.

Dancing Machine: No stranger to a dance floor, Taylor Swift couldn't help but bust a move while listening to several stars on-stage. We saw you T-Swift shaking to Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora's "Black Widow." And when Beyoncé performed "Drunk in Love," you may have looked just like us.

Honoring a Movie Legend: MTV couldn't ignore Robin Williams' tragic passing during their telecast. Before a commercial break, a video montage of the actor's most memorable roles played on the big screen. While some Twitter users thought it was a touching moment, others found it forced and even a bit awkward.

Biggest Oops: Nina Dobrev and Trey Songz tried their best to get viewers laughing when they appeared on-stage to present an award. Things got a little awkward, however, when the "Bottoms Up" singer mispronounced The Black Keys as "The Black Eyes."  Apparently, presenting is harder than it looks.

Best SpeechThe most memorable speech didn't come from an A-list celebrity. Instead, it came from Miley Cyrus' mystery date. A young man named Jesse appeared on-stage where he delivered an inspiring speech regarding the issue of youth homelessness in Los Angeles and America. "I survived in shelters all over the city," Jesse told the crowd. "I've cleaned hotel rooms before and been an extra in your movies and in your life." Tune in Tuesday, Aug. 26, at 8 p.m. for a special VMA and Emmys edition of Fashion Police!
