But at Saturday's Variety and Women in Film's Emmy Nominee Celebration Powered by Samsung Galaxy, actress Julianna Margulies got quite the surprise when a fellow star (wearing slippers, we might add) practically ran into her.
While posing for pictures, the 48-year-old Good Wife actress suddenly got photobombed by the legendary Cloris Leachman!
Before a red carpet handler could grab the 88-year-old star, Leachman ultimately got quite the view of Margulies' backside before letting the Emmy-nominated star pose for pictures alone.
By no surprise, Margulies laughed it off like a pro as she later hugged her new red carpet friend.
After her epic photobomb, Leachman continued to make new friends on the carpet by posing with fellow attendees Allison Janney, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin.
Later in the day, Leachman revealed that she got to meet the one and only Olivia Pope, aka Kerry Washington.
"I'm at @EW #Emmys with my new BFF... @KerryWashington!!! ," she shared. "Scandalous, isn't it?!? #EW #Emmys2014"
Looks like Leachman is making the most of Emmys weekend! You go, girl!
