Three Emmy winners walk into a pawn shop.
Apologies to the rest of the week, but you can just take a seat because Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul just made Tuesday the winner. Why? Because they reunited for a hilarious video. But wait, it gets even better. The Breaking Bad duo is joined by Veep star Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It's the crossover we never knew we wanted, but always needed.
In a video from Audi of America, one of the sponsors of the 2014 Emmys, which air on Monday, Cranston and Paul star on a new show together, Barely Legal Pawn, running a totally legitimate pawn shop. (Just don't ask what goes on behind closed doors!)
After downing a little too much rosé and drunkenly buying an island (We've all been there, right?), Louis-Dreyfus is a little strapped for cash, leading her to try and pawn one of her precious Emmys.
Too bad Cranston and Paul aren't exactly impressed by her trophy, citing two reasons: it was for her work on Seinfeld, so it's a supporting trophy (Paul does seem to differ with his partner on this one), and it's for a comedy. "You know what they say, comedy is easy, drama is hard," Paul says. (Burn!) At least the trio can agree that "cable money" isn't all that great.
And yes, Jesse Pinkman fans, Paul manages to get one last "B--ch!" in there. Oh, how we miss our favorite cooks!
Cranston, Paul and Louis-Drefus are all nominated at the 2014 Emmys, which will air live on Monday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC.
