Jennifer Lopez and ex-boyfriend Casper Smart reunited in L.A. Monday. The former couple was seen hanging out and driving around together in a white convertible. While arriving back to Lopez's house, the 45-year-old singer, who was sitting in the passenger's seat, saw photographers snapping away and ducked out of view in an attempt to hide. It was no use, however, as paparazzi got shots of J.Lo and Casper cruisin' together.
So are the duo back together and giving their romance a second chance?
"They are still friends," a source tells E! News of the friendly exes. "They are not back together."
Additionally, another source close to Casper tells us the two are "great friends" and there is "nothing romantic going on between the two of them." "Casper has an enormous amount of respect for Jennifer and her kids," the insider adds. "He still loves her and cares about the kids. Nothing has really chanced since they split regarding their relationship and nothing romantic is going on."
J.Lo and Casper's reunion comes a few weeks after Lopez rang in her 45th birthday with rumored beau Maksim Chmerkovskiy by her side. During the Hamptons bash, Lopez and her DWTS beau were very "affectionate." "They seemed really happy to see each other," a source dished.
Shortly after, another source told E! of the potential new couple, "There has been a date here and there, but really they are good friends before anything else. Maks asks her for advice and she thinks he is super-talented and very hot. Obviously, that is hard to ignore."
The source added, "She thinks he is great, but she is being very careful."
As for Smart's recent busy schedule, he's currently choreographing Nicki Minaj's performance for her hit "Bang Bang" at the MTV VMA's this Sunday.
