Kate Gosselin (and her eight kids!) are making their way back to the small screen!

The famous family returned to TV with a 1-hour TLC special in June, and now the cable network has ordered additional hours from Kate and the kids.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, which was first to report the news, it's "not immediately clear how many hours [of Gosselins] the network plans to air," but they "will be released over multiple specials set for a December premiere."

It's been three years since Kate Plus 8 was canceled, but the public is still interested in 39-year-old Kate, 10-year-old sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel and 13-year-old twins Cara and Mady. According to THR, the family's 1-hour special in June earned 2.1 million viewers when it premiered.

So what's next for Kate and her brood? TLC will reportedly follow them on a family vacation which includes visits to Boston and other parts of New England. And while Kate has said her kids all enjoy filming their lives for TV, she told E! News if she didn't need to support her family, "you would not know this name and I would be on an island, and so would they. You would never hear from us again."

Ex-husband Jon Gosselin would probably prefer if his and Kate's children stayed off TV completely—regardless of the financial benefits. In an issue with In Touch published earlier this year, he slammed Kate for wanting to put the kids back on TV, saying, "I consider that exploitation."

Kate, however, insists the kids love when the cameras are rolling, telling Us Weekly they "cheered like crazy" and were "very happy" when filming resumed.

If that's the case, it looks like Kate's eight have a lot to be excited about in the coming months!
