Hold your horses, people.

Recent exes Michael Strahan and Nicole Murphy were spotted grabbing lunch together earlier today at the South Beverly Grill in Beverly Hills, sparking speculation as to whether or not this on-again, off-again duo have decided to reverse the their decision to call it quits and give their relationship another try.

Well, we're here to tell you that's not the case. "They had lunch. They are on friendly terms. No big deal," a source tells E! News of their meeting today, and adds that the pair are not reconciling.

News that Strahan and Murphy decided to call off their engagement went public in the beginning of this month.

A rep for the retired football player and now morning talk show host told E! News at the time, "They love each other very much but with the distance and work schedule it has been hard to maintain the relationship."

A source close to the couple also told E! News at the time that the longtime pair had a "complicated" relationship. "They have been on and off for two years. There have been a lot of ups and downs and back and forth. Sometimes they were together, sometimes they were not. They were both aware all along of their relationship status. No one did anything wrong. They were both aware of their situation and it was a complicated relationship. There are no big surprises between them."

Strahan first began dating the VH1 star and model back in 2007, and the duo has nine children between them. The 46-year-old beauty was previously married to Eddie Murphy, while the 42-year-old former athlete was once married to Jean Muggli.

The two have been engaged since 2009, and have kept fairly quiet about their personal lives throughout their relationship.
