InstagramFrom 16 and Pregnant to kindergarten class, the Teen Mom tots are growing up fast!
MTV stars Maci Bookout, Amber Portwood and Jenelle Evans all recently took to Twitter to share the news that their firstborns have headed off to school, and as expected, the proud mamas are filled with both joy and hesitation as watch their little ones grow up.
"i seriously thought i could make it through the first day kindergarten without a melt down LOL i didnt even make it out of the parking lot," Bookout wrote on her social media page in addition to tweeting a pic of son Bentley, who is smiling from ear to ear as he gears up for his first day.
Bookout's Teen Mom co-star Amber Portwood, who recently admitted that daughter Leah needs to "stop growing," is also feeling the pain of separating from her baby girl for the day, retweeting an adorable shot from ex Gary Shirley's Twitter page of her offspring's toothy grin.
"First day of school," the proud papa captioned the adorable shot.
But the Teen Mom ladies weren't the only MTV stars sending their kids off to class. Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Evans couldn't help but gush over son Jace, who apparently, is one little smarty-pants.
"IM SO PROUD OF JACE! He just started his first day of school. He didn't know why they took him out of class for math.. Well we found out," the 22-year-old reality star wrote before revealing, "he is so smart they are having him do 1st grade math already! my little man is SUPER SMART !!!!!!"
Meanwhile, both Maci and Amber, as well as original Teen Mom castmember Catelynn Lowell, who is currently expecting her second child with fiancé Tyler Baltierra, are all gearing up for the show's new season, which is expected to debut sometime in 2015.
All three ladies began on the MTV series 16 and Pregnant before appearing on Teen Mom. "It's official we are coming back!!," Lowell wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. "@AmberLPortwood @MaciBookoutMTV @TylerBaltierra looking forward to showing you what we have been doing!"
