Think lovely thoughts indeed!

That's what Dianna Agron fans have been doing, ever since the lovely Glee star (turned movie star) responded to a couple of cryptic tweets from Peter Pan Live! producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, suggesting she may have been in talks for NBC's musical production.

Casting is currently underway for the live TV event on Dec. 4, also starring Allison Williams (as Peter), Christopher Walken (as Captain Hook) and Christian Boyle (as Mr. Smee/Father Darling), and Zadan and Meron tweeted some glowing praise to Agron about her talents and her "busy" schedule...

We did some digging, and a source close to the actress says Agron is not currently in talks for any TV projects. A rep for NBC also says there's "no truth" to the rumor that she's in talks for Peter Pan.

Bubble = burst!

But can we just say...Dianna Agron should be in talks. She would be perfect for Tinkerbell, would she not? Assuming, you know, Tinkerbell won't be played by some kind of reflective light, as they do sometimes. So...Can we start the Dianna Agron For Tinkerbell (#DAFT) campaign now? Who's with us?

By the way, the list of actresses who have turned down Peter Pan Live! might be prettttty long at this point, in large part because of the time commitment, as NBC president Bob Greenblatt recently pointed out.

"What's been hard is we've actually had several women who wanted to do it," Greenblatt explained, "but they're either busy or can't fit it in to their schedules. Because I need that person from Aug. 5 to Dec. 5. And so that knocks out the Kristen Bells of the world."

Surely enough, Kristen Bell was approached for the role of Peter, but couldn't work it out with her House of Lies commitment. The role of Peter Pan was given to Girls star Allison Williams, which was announced in July.

How do you feel about Dianna Agron as Tinkerbell? Or Wendy? Show us your little twinkly light in the comments!
