Britney Spears Thanks Crossroads Co-Star Zoe Saldana for Defending Her Music: See the Sweet Tweet!

Britney Spears and Zoe Saldana are gushing over each other over a decade after they first met on the set of their 2002 flick Crossroads.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live last week, Saldana was asked by a viewer if she'd heard the pop star's unedited track "Alien," which recently leaked without auto-tune. Without hesitating, the 36-year-old actress came to Spears' defense.

"Well, that's mean, because I'm pretty sure that 80 percent of our musical artists would be mortified if they were caught singing without their own auto-tune," Saldana said.

"I have a huge amount of respect for Britney Spears. She was the one big, big celebs that I met when I started to work in Hollywood who literally was humble," Saldana went on. "I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy, and she's definitely an abundance of that."

Spears took notice of Saldana's kind words and took to Twitter the other day to thank her for the defense. "@zoesaldana Truly the sweetest, thx 4 the kind words. Nothing but great memories of working w u. Crossroads pt 2? ;)," Spears wrote.
