Someone is having a "Fancy" summer. Nick Young and his ladylove Iggy Azalea stepped out last month at the ESPY Awards at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, just a stone's throw away from where the guard suits up in purple and yellow for the Lakers. The singer rocked a sexy gown with a high slit, and of course the bold fashion choice earned praise from her beau. "She killed it," Young wrote on Instagram.

Not only was Nick on the carpet as a guest, he served as an ESPN co-host on the red carpet, breaking down the best looks of the night. Of course that meant he had to bring his A-game to the evening. "Only a the ESPY's #SwaggyShoes #Swaggytakeover" he captioned a pic showing off his sleek suit and very flashy shoes.

A fun night at the ESPYS isn't the only thing that has Nick smiling these days. He recently re-signed with the Lakers. "Thank you LakerNation for all your support, I'm very happy to say: I'm home! #SwaggyIsBack #GreatThingsToCome for the Lakers," he tweeted. The team and its fans have a lot to be excited about next season—faves like Young and Jordan Hill are set to come back, Jeremy Lin is joining the squad and star Kobe Bryant will be returning to the court after having to sit out much of last season due to injury.

And of course, a new season means plenty of fresh off-court style from Swaggy P. We recently caught up with Young in NYC—where he joked about being better than Kobe—so naturally, we had to get him to spill some of his sartorial secrets and sound off about which NBA players have got game in the style department.

Nick, surprisingly shared that he's most comfortable in a sweat pants and T-shirts. But when it comes to shoes, he's decidedly less laid back.

Nick's flashy shoes at the ESPYs were only a peek into his footwear game. When asked how many pairs he usually travels with, he answered, "Depends on where I am going if I am just going for a night I have to have at least two pairs of shoes . Saint Laurent is my go to designer for dressy shoes and then a pair of Jordans." From L.A. to Tokyo, indeed. Nick spilled the contents of his suitcase and showed us exactly which kicks he brought along for his trip. Watch the video above to hear Nick dish on his travel must-haves.

And like many players, he's dreamed of designing his own shoe, telling us "That would be dope, but I have to take some time, because if it's your first shoe you can't just throw anything out there. It would be a sneaker."

So who—other than No. 0, of course—has great style in the NBA? "I say LeBron [James], [Russell] Westbrook, DWade, Amar'e [Stoudemire]," he said. "And Tim Duncan" he added with a laugh. With five NBA championship rings to his name, we're sure Old Man River Walk is taking the playful trash talk in stride.
