If your head's still spinning over that Bachelorette shocker last night—Nick revealed on live TV that he slept with Andi, and we have the latest on whether Andi and Josh are still together!—you may have missed the shocking non-news:

No new Bachelor was revealed!

ABC always (OK, usually) announces the next Bachelor on the night of the Bachelorette finale. However, no decision has been made yet, multiple sources tell E! News. And that's because the producers and network are having a hard time making the final choice!

"There is a debate raging inside the Bachelor camp," one source tells us. "[Farmer] Chris Soules is on a very short list." We also know that Arie Luyendyk from Emily Maynard's Bachelorette season is on that "very short list."

In fact, the list is so short, we are told that as of now, Chris and Arie are "really the only two in the running, although there is one wild card."

Producers have met with both Chris and Arie, and shot them on camera to see how they would be as the next Bachelor.

Our take? Chris could not be more sweet (or easy on the eyes), but if he's seriously set on staying on the farm in his small Iowa town of 700 people (as we saw on Andi's Bachelorette season), we're not so sure how easy the casting would go. Some girls would consider that their dream life, some not.

Arie, the son of  Indianapolis 500 winner, Arie Luyendyk, was a fan favorite (and runner-up) on Emily's season. And he has stayed close with the Bachelor/Bachelorette family. So he seems a good fit.

Question, though: Could that "wild card" be Nick? You know, the runner-up from last night that revealed to the world he slept with Andi?

Stranger things have happened!

We'll know when the "debate" is settled!
