Safe to say this probably wasn't the outcome Keith Urban anticipated following his most recent concert.

Authorities say more than several dozen people were treated for alcohol-related illnesses after the country crooner's Saturday night show in Massachusetts. According to reports, at least 46 people were treated—with 22 taken to a nearby hospital, while 24 received treatment on scene at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield. Additionally, more than 50 people were placed in protective custody and could face charges.

"Last evening's Keith Urban concert was not anticipated to present with the volume of issues handled, but measures were in place to provide appropriate and adequate care and protection to all patrons," Mansfield, Massachusetts Fire Chief Neal Boldrighini and Police Chief Ronald Sellon said in a joint statement.

Officials say ambulances from five surrounding cities responded to the incident, and according to LiveNation, approximately 18,000 people were in attendance to watch Urban perform.

While Nicole Kidman's hubby, who has previously opened up about his struggles with alcohol abuse, has to comment on the booze-fueled disaster, he did post a YouTube video shortly after the show in which he thanks fans for their support.

"What a great night tonight, I always want to say Boston but we technically were in Mansfield tonight, but it was killer. So everybody from Massachusetts who came out, we had folks traveling everywhere to come to the show tonight, thank you very much," he said before hinting at the mayhem. "Gosh, up on the lawn tonight, that was nutso, it was so cool. Anyway if you came tonight, thank you for giving us all the love and energy. It's been an amazing weekend and we're just getting started on this Raise 'Em Up tour so thank you for making it so special. Boston strong, I love you."

Urban is next expected to take the stage in Cincinnati, Ohio on Thursday before he heads to St. Louis for a show on Friday.
