D Dipasupil/Getty ImagesShia LaBeouf arrived at a Manhattan court today to face multiple charges stemming from his June 26 arrest at a Broadway show.
The 28-year-old Fury star was arrested and charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, one count of criminal trespassing and one count of harassment after disrupting a performance of the Cabaret, starring Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams, at Studio 54.
The former Disney star, who traded in his usual scruffy appearance for a sharp brown suit, remained silent throughout the proceedings. He left the court room with his lawyer, G. Robert Gage, and declined to comment to the throng of reporters swarming outside the courthouse.
The Manhattan District Attorney confirmed to E! News that the prosecutor and Shia's attorney discussed a possible resolution to the case, but that there is currently no offer of recommendation at this time.
LaBeouf, who has remained relatively out of the spotlight since his arrest, is due back in court on Sept. 10.
Last month, LaBeouf made headlines for his bizarre behavior when he was seen chasing a homeless man on the streets of NYC. Prior to his public chase-down, the actor, who was wearing a ripped T-shirt and appeared disheveled, was spotted drinking double margaritas while watching the World Cup at the Iguana Club, a Mexican restaurant located next to the theater.
Shortly after, the Nymphomaniac star made his way to Studio 54, where, according to authorities, the Disturbia star was smoking cigarettes while watching Cabaret and otherwise being disruptive, after which he continued to act up in front of the police after security had escorted him out of the building during intermission.
LaBeouf was subsequently arrested, taken into custody and transported to the Midtown North station, where his troubles only continued. According to NBC News, prosecutors allege that he told a police officer: "I'll end your life. Do you know who I am?" before he launched into an expletive filled-rant which included a homophobic slur.
Following his public meltdown, LaBeouf's rep confirmed to E! News earlier this month that the troubled actor is currently seeking treatment for alcohol addiction.
"Contrary to previous erroneous reports, Shia LaBeouf has not checked into a rehabilitation facility but he is voluntarily receiving treatment for alcohol addiction," his rep said. "He understands that these recent actions are a symptom of a larger health problem and he has taken the first of many necessary steps towards recovery. There will be no further comments made at this time."
