Have you met Robyn Lawley?

The 25-year-old brunette Wilhelmina Models beauty caught some positive attention after she opted to post a bikini photo of herself without any retouching. "New sexier cuts coming to #robynlawleyswimwear that still offer the same support #retouchandmakeupfree #ineedatan," Lawley, who was wearing a fuschia two-piece, captioned the snapshot.

And while it's definitely refreshing to see a woman embrace her natural beauty, Lawley's praise was quickly overshadowed by the fact that she's a plus-size model, because...WTF? She's considered to be plus-size?!

Social media users were quick to voice the same astonishment in the comments section of her photo. "Plus size?? Are you freakin kidding me??!! If this is plus size, then everyone I know is morbidly obese. Wow," one user wrote, while another said, "the fact that this is plus sized makes me sick. she is flipping gorgeous, long and lean!"

Then there were comments like, "You are not plus sized. You are a regular sized individual. No more, no less. It is an insult to people with real weight issues that you title yourself with this. #getreal."

Lawley is the first Australian plus-size model (or "fiercely real" model, if you prefer to use Tyra Banks' term) to be on the cover of Madison, an Australian Fashion magazine, according to her website, and was also the first plus-size model to appear in a campaign for Ralph Lauren. You might also recognize her as one of the four faces who re-created the latest Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue cover.

She is best known for her cover of Vogue Italia's June 2011 issue, and is the first plus-size model to be shot for Australian Vogue. "This is the first time Vogue Australia has shot a larger model and, of course, now that we have done it, I ask myself why we didn't do it sooner. But that's because Robyn is especially gorgeous," Editor-in-Chief Kirstie Clements said.

"I went to the shoot to meet her and was transfixed by her beauty and poise. She is a truly super-duper model. When a plus-size model first turns up to the studio, she may be an anomaly to a team normally used to working with size-6's, but once photographer Max Doyle started shooting Robyn, we quickly readjusted our preconceived notions of beauty. She doesn't actually look plus-size to me at all now."

And to some, she never did.
