H&MLook, it's not exactly a newsflash that Gisele Bündchen makes a ton of money. She's been one of the most in-demand models for decades.
But according to Forbes, Gisele is worth a staggering $386 million, and this past year has been the most lucrative in her super storied career. It's hard for us (and most, we assume) to wrap our minds around such a gigantic number.
And what's most impressive about Gisele is not just how much she's worth, but that she keeps earning more and more (and more!) each year.
Forbes estimates that over the past twelve months Gisele took home $47 million, or $128,000 a day.
So how exactly does Gisele bring in this insane amount of bacon? It's mostly thanks to scoring major advertising campaigns. This past year she's landed gigs with H&M, Chanel, Carolina Herrera and Louis Vuitton.
Not to mention that the Forbes $128,000 estimate doesn't even include her most recent high-paying jobs, like campaigns with Emilio Pucci and Balenciaga. The estimate also does not include her role as the new face of Chanel No. 5, which likely comes with a pretty major payday.
And even though Gisele has denied her Forbes estimates in the past, even if her reported fortune isn't exact down to the very last penny, it's clear that her earnings are outrageously impressive.
It's also clear that the key to bringing home the huge amount of dough that Gisele does is through landing high-profile ad campaigns. But, it's also about staying the same.
In a 2009 article in The Independent designer Stefano Gabbana said of Gisele, "Gisele hasn't changed over the years: she speaks a lot, she is funny and she is not scared of saying what she thinks."
Not to mention, we'd say that the 33 year-old mother has stayed the same in the face department, too. Throughout the years she's managed to remain pretty ageless. Which of course helps in keeping her face and name so recognizable and timeless.
So, really, our main takeaway from Forbes' estimates about Gisele's massive fortune is that if you are able to remain classic and timeless, the payoff can be huge. Like, $386 million huge.
