Aly Michalka, who previously starred in Disney Channel's Phil of the Future and currently appears in CBS' Two and a Half Men, revealed that she is engaged to director Stephen Ringer via Instagram Tuesday.
Michalka, who also fronts pop-rock band 78violet with her sister, shared a picture of her huge diamond ring and revealed the proposal took place more than a week ago. "So this happened.....7/8," she wrote.
She also tweeted, "Wanted to share the exciting news! Feel very blessed to know such a great love."
Michalka teased the engagement Tuesday by sharing an Instagram picture of herself posing with her sibling during Just Jared's Summer Fiesta over that weekend. "Hmmm....no one's noticed yet. #Lookcloser," she wrote.
After a commenter figured it out, she replied, "It was literally like right there out in the open hahah."
Earlier this month, the actress and her fiancé celebrated their one year and seven month anniversary.
