Watch: Meredith Vieira Sounds Off on "View" Hosts

And yet another former View co-host is sounding off on Rosie O'Donnell's return!

After it was officially announced that the former ABC co-host would be joining Whoopi Goldberg at the table in Season 18, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who O'Donnell infamously sparred with on the show back in 2007, slammed her return on Fox & Friends.

And now Meredith Vieira, who served as a host from 1997-2006, is weighing in on O'Donnell's buzzed-about return.

"Rosie replaced me. Rosie had been a guest and I had been on her show once, so I knew her in that way, but I never really got to sit down at the table with her and do 'Hot Topics,'" Vieira told us at NBC's 2014 Summer Press Tour, where she's promoting her new talk show, The Meredith Vieira Show

And while Vieira wasn't "in that environment" when O'Donnell and Hasselbeck's feud was going on, which resulted in O'Donnell's exit after just one season on the show, she said, "They must like her because she's back!"

Vieira spent three years at The View's table with Hasselbeck before exiting to replace Katie Couric on Today and admitted she hasn't kept up with her former co-host's career after she left the long-running talk show in 2013 to join Fox & Friends.

"I know she's at Fox and I think she's done very, very well and she's a lovely lady," she said. "I wish her the best. I think that's a good fit for her."

So who does Vieira think should join O'Donnell and Goldberg on The View in Season 18? And why is it going to be "tricky" to join the show? Watch our exclusive interview with her above to find out!
