Jessica Simpson went from bride to birthday girl in a matter of days!
The mogul mama turns 34 Thursday, and to celebrate, she Instagrammed a post-wedding, makeup-free selfie. She captioned the beautiful, barefaced shot, "And the sun sets on 33."
Jessica's July 10 b-day certainly comes at a happy time! On July 5, she married Eric Johnson, also 34, in a "magical" ceremony at the luxurious San Ysidro Ranch, located in Montecito, Calif. The bride and groom exchanged vows in front of their family—including Ashlee Simpson and fiancé Evan Ross—and friends, including Jessica Alba, Cash Warren, CaCee Cobb, Donald Faison and Topher Grace.
"We are overwhelmed with complete happiness and love having made our eternal commitment," the newlyweds told People. "To say 'I do' in front of family, friends and, most importantly, our children has been the happiest moment of our lives."
It was actually the couple's 2-year-old daughter Maxwell and 1-year-old son Ace who stole the show on mom and dad's big day! "Before I walked out, I kept hearing all the applause, so my kids got standing ovations," Jessica gushed.
"It's so surreal," she added of her magnificent wedding day. "This has been something we've wanted ever since we met."
Aw! Something tells us Jess and her man will enjoy the honeymoon phase indefinitely, and we couldn't be any happier for the birthday girl!
