Hmm…something is very different about Victoria Beckham in the August issue of British Vogue. Can you guess?

No heels!

The 40-year-old fashion designer is known for her love of skyscraper stilettos, but for her latest spread in Vogue U.K. she ditches her heels for—gasp!—flats. Actually, Wellington boots, to be exact.

The fashion shoot (photographed by Patrick Demarchelier) is garden-themed, after all. In the inside shot, Victoria poses on a stone wall in a gorgeous flowering garden wearing an oversize gray sweater, a floppy hat and—of course—green rubber boots.

The issue also offers two different covers (more V.B. for your buck!)—including one of her wearing a belted sweater coat over a white oxford shirt.

But we're partial to the cover shot of Victoria in a red neckerchief holding the most adorable looking dog we ever did see.

Inside the issue, Victoria offers up gems like this: "I had dinner in LA with Gwyneth Paltrow and Valentino, and I said to Gwyneth that her body looked amazing and she introduced me to Tracy Anderson. I started when I was pregnant with Harper, and it's very challenging."

If you've ever wondered what kind of dinner convo topics come up with those three power players, well, now you know! The Tracy Anderson Method, naturally.

Victoria also gets candid about her recent milestone birthday. "I looked at it [turning 40] and said to myself, I have four incredible children, an incredible husband, a business that's doing very well. I've worked hard and achieved a lot. I don't think I could have achieved much more."
